follow-up report on blogav.
hi all,
as a result of my story that ran on Monday July 12th, 2010, Blogav now has a survey on what direction its site should go in, go the site and vote, vote for more open communication and dialogue, this survey was a direct result of my criticsm of its site and the low number of story’s that ran on Blogav,
vote for more open dialogue, or vote to shut it down, if Republicans can’t vote their opinions,

I am not opposed to having blog sites to go on. I just like this one. I went on blog av once and everyone was agreeing with each other. If there was heated debating, I probably missed it.
I love debating lancaster, Roxi, & Matt.

BlogAv.org…The MARXIST – LIBERAL blathering site is a joke.. Now Denise posts a “Survey” that is so childish it is comical..
Go look at the choices she gives in the Survey and get ready for a belly laugh..
The site is made up of 3 Bloggers, “The Trist”, Zebra, LAME-CASTER and the good Captain, who simply blather all over each other back and forth in a sickening display of America hatred and REX PARIS spewing..
EVERY Conservative blogger has left because GUY,the IDEOLOGICAL BIGOT,refuses to “Man Up” and make the site friendly…
Marino and myself will tease “The Trist” every now and then…

Hate to break this to you Jack, but you had nothing to do with my survey.
For several months there were many complaints about the whining that was going on, and the childish behavior that was shown by people who failed to follow some pretty simple rules.
Instead of acting to stop the whining, we let it continue, effectively supporting bloggers “free speech rights” as long as they were not directly threatening or attacking other bloggers, and that whining drove very good people off the site.
If people wanted to engage in an abusive site, they could blog here. If they wanted to whine, they could do it here.
As far as the poll answers, bloggers were allowed several options, including leaving everything exactly the way it was, so for someone to suggest it was “biased” is ridiculous to the extreme. Fact is, a lot of people lost interest in the site when it became intheav mini, with the added whining going on when ONE conservative blogger was faced with opinions that did not line up with his own, and of course one Conservative blogger found out that his constant personal attacks would not be tolerated. Strange behavior for someone who agreed with the “civilty” clause for membership.
Jack appears to be a little bitter because his request to be added as a moderator was denied, but part of the reason for that was that he failed to pass the “Honesty test”. How can you give someone the power to ban, block and delete posts after you’ve seen them act totally irrationally and without integrity?

How does she explain that for NEARLY 7 DAYS, not one comment was posted by anyone??

It does NOT allow free speech to all and it does allow for personal attacks of others while claiming it does not..

IF you are referring to me, I was deleted TWICE, and I am BY FAR the blogger with the most posts Denise.
Last I checked, it was a 4-1 margin!!

Asking a lib why something they love fails, like a blog, or public schools they react like a teacher. The lib blames the parent for not helping the child to be ready to learn. In other words the libs can never understand why their world fails because it is always someone elses fault. There are no accidents it’s always someone’s actions that caused their failures.

She/they/libs don’t ask because it doesn’t occur to them that they could be wrong. The reason it falls apart is due to a faulty premise. Sad but they are wedded to that faulty premise and it is someone else’s fault for their world to spin out of control.
To ask for help in understanding why something fails is a sign of humility. It is also a sign of maturity. It is also shows growth and an ability to learn.

I certainly wasn’t happy with the questions they asked. It was geared towards the liberals who already blog there. Where were the questions asking what could they do to attract people with other opinions? No just these:
1. Is to liberal
2. Not liberal enough
3. should stay the way it is
4. should become a liberal blog site
5. Civility is not possible so give up the rules, not the site
6. Should remain open to everyone
7. Should continue to be open to all opinions, but keep the rules
8. Should add a rule a rule against whining. Don’t like the rules, you’re free to leave

Let’s see, 6 of 8 questions in the poll are decidedly NOT “liberal” at all, but a good reason for the same old folks to whine.
And yes Wayne, constant whining, bitching and moaning sure did drive people away, and though I of course never mentioned you by name, you sure recognized your own behavior enough to ASSUME I was talking about you.
A handful of bloggers of any stripe is way more productive than having one blogger who simply can not deal with following some very simple rules who simply want to use the site as a place to work out life’s frustrations by having a daily hissy fit.
Interestingly enough, you also happened to be the one promoting moderating of a huge number of blog posts.. LOL!
So yes, Jack aggressively pitched himself as a moderator, which was simply not a good idea.
You aggressively whined on a daily basis, and when we made no move to moderate unless people actually broke the rules, you decided to act as if you needed an exorcist and thorazine, flipping backwards to attack other bloggers and site moderators, and anyone with a different opinion than your own. It was so bad at one point that for every post made by someone else, you became so obsessed to post 3 or 4 posts to every other bloggers single post.
Do I feel bad that you left the site? Not at all, as we all know, one bad apple sometimes sours the whole bunch :)
