Selling the Eye in the Sky
Since it is obvious to even first year law students that the Eye in the Sky won’t pass Constitutional muster, could it be that the Eye-Sky-Spy is being marketed to countries that don’t have a pesky document like the Constitution governing them?

Could it be that Rex is trying to sell the Eye in the Sky to the Chinese so that they can continue to oppress their own people more effectively?

I don’t know, just wondering. After all, we X-files folks are always looking for conspiracies!

We’ll never see a Lancaster “eye”. It’s never intended to be deployed.

The “eye in the sky” is merely meant to excite the base—right wing conservative Christian busybodies. They LOVE the notion of being able to keep tabs on “them”. “Them” being…anybody not them.

The “eye” makes Rex appear bold! Innovative! High tech! Crimefighting! Willing to take on the liberal ACLU types!

Without the “eye” ever even really existing.

Brilliant if you think about it.

Is there a connection between the Mongols in California and the Mongols in China? Rex seems to be the nexus between both.

got to agree with u. kinda like the prayer on the ballot BS. just because it passes in lanc. doesn’t make it legal. just means we’re going to court!

but we seem to have alot of suckers, who feed off this crap!

Yep.

The purpose of putting prayer on the ballot is not so the council can pray.

Prayer is on the ballot because it will guarantee the church vote on election day.

And when prayer passes, it’ll be a gift that keeps on giving whenever “liberals”—aka “nonchurchgoers”—complain, or if—they can only hope and pray (pun intended)—there’s a lawsuit.

Nothing upsets and aggravates conservative Christians more than liberals suing! Maybe even the ACLU! And an upset/aggravated/angry conservative Christian is a voting conservative Christian.

Win win. For the Lancaster powerbrokers.

Except nothing angers a real conservative than paying money out for lawsuits — thus — if Rex keeps on creating lawsuits even the conservative Christians will eventually want to vomit all over his cowboy boots.

Why isn’t he offering to pay for the lawsuits since Rex was the one grinning into the camera about the Mongola and shutting down the Desert Inn.

He’s offering to pay for everything else to buy adoration from the people. Lesson learned — Money means everything to the mayor Rex. It’s his crutch, his life, his sense of importance.

Remove his money and he says he’s just another _________________ in a trailer. At least that’s how he described it once.

Rex doesn’t believe he needs to ‘sell’ the Eye in the Sky Project’. He and Baca have worked it out and that’s that. Little folks don’t matter.

Received some information about the Cedar Center that makes me wonder how deep this issue goes.

According to a document title Disposition ….. there are underground fuel tanks under the Cedar building. The cover sheet comments by the person who sent this to me states that underground fuel tanks could be ready to ignite that could kill you and your family members without a moment’s notice.

These people claim fuel is seeping into our water supply, contaminating water.

It talks about how our youth and families are in that building not knowing they have been performing over a possible PUBLIC SAFETY NIGHTMARE.

It is in regards to the Cedar Building across from the library.

The official looking document has seal and is signed by City Manager James Gilley and a few other folks. GILLEY’S SIGNATURE IS DATED MARCH 3/28/1994!!!!

Would the entire issue of the Cedar Street Building not be about what we are being told but about these tanks that should have been fixed years and years and years ago.

Also, James Gilley does a lot of business with the city and has a close relationship with Mayor Rex. If this is true, and turns out to be a MAJOR PUBLIC SAFETY ISSUE —WHY HASN’T THE MAYOR ADDRESSED THIS???

Finally, if this is true as the officially looking document states, why is the Mayor or City doing business with someone who has not shared this information with the public?

JUST ASKIN….. MAKES YOU WONDER IF THE MAYOR IS REALLY ABOUT PUBLIC SAFETY OR PUBLIC PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES???

I believe Arnie Rodeo and his father alluded to this issue at a city council meeting?

Is the drug issue the city is associating with the Cedar Center a smokescreen to cover up something that has been known since 1994.

I don’t know. Just asking.

Sorry to raise this from the dead, but this article is worth a look. Rex is WAY behind the curve when it comes to remote observation and always will be.
