A Giant Sucking Sound.....
Did anybody hear that giant sucking sound today? I think it was all of the investment dollars that Muslim businessmen were GOING to invest in Lancaster now going to Palmdale, especially after listening to the L.A. radio stations today.
I heard that a coalition of Muslim businessmen were going to bring a manufacturing plant to Lancaster but that they were decided against it because the Mayor is building a Christian community and that they didn’t feel really welcome.
If I were a Muslim or Jewish businessman I would certainly think twice about investing in Lancaster. I understand that if you’re a Muslim and you want to invest in Palmdale, they don’t ask you how many babies you killed last year.

If I were a Muslim and I heard all this craziness going on, precipitated by the comments of both Sherry a councilmember and Rex the mayor, I would think twice about living or locating my business in Lancaster let alone the A.V.
Rex chasing the Christian vote at LBC and all the churches with such desperation that he’s tripping over his gator boots and lap dog tongue.

No comment. You’ve got Cagy Wolf that hates every ethnic or racial group and Marino who hates just to hate. And you got PK afraid of her own shadow simply because I mention the name Rose Dispenza and how she hosted the Tom Jones concert as a booster member. I guess that threat of a lawsuit from Rex left a lasting impression to the point any mention of the name Dispenza sends her into a censoring panic.

Wow! After reading this thread, I can just see the investment dollars rolling in. Just because some Christians are racist bigots doesn’t mean that ALL Christians are racist bigots….so I think it could impact a little bit of Christian investment as well (whatever that is).

Hopefully they’ll be able to offset the Muslim, Jew, or just plain atheist investors who don’t want to mess with the whole religion thing. Being a business person, you know good and well that controversy is generally bad for business. Not always, but in most cases it is.
I wonder how some of our devout Councilmembers would feel if a Muslim mayor in, let’s say, South Florida decided that he wanted to “build a Muslim community” with a mosque in every neighborhood. Talk about folks blowing a gasket!
Oh wait, I forgot. This is a CHRISTIAN nation, so that’s okay.

Don’t worry about the jobs, though, they’ll all be going to Palmdale. That’s why Jim Ledford really promotes Lancaster as a Christian community as well. Lots of investment dollars rolling into Palmdale as investors run from Lancaster!
