The US Postal Serviced warned that the benefits and pensions of retired Postal employees is in danger of running out of funds.
I, like many others, know the USPS, a Federal Government agency, is mismanaged and if a private company, would gave shut down.
I understand the importance of the USPS. It is part of our history, culture, and our everyday lives. I don’t want to see it fail and I don’t want past employees screwed out of benefits earned.
Why not divert the billions of dollars we send to Egypt, Pakistan, the Palestinians, and Syria, back to the reformation and restructuring of the USPS. Pensions could be saved and the agency run in a more efficient manner to remain competetive with UPS and FEDEX.
I have no problem if public funds are used to improve public agencies. I do have a problem with public money being used to bailout private companies such as GM. The bailout of GM was nothing more than to save private unions for political reasons. Once the GM bailout occurred, GM should have become a Government run agency, which would have condemned GM for failure. Had GM been allowed to file BK, it would have been restructured by law, saving GM pensions and restructuring UAW contracts or eliminate GM from UAW control.
Obama is using public money for pure political purposes and not for the good of the country.

Media matters and the other major “media watchdog” group also meet at the whitehouse. Think about that. That is basically the White House trying to control and stifle certain media outlets by using these groups.
As for terrorists being at the white house, there was a story last year about an Al Quaida terrorist being at a dinner at the pentagon. Because we control those groups, we fund them, and they do our bidding whenever the government needs a major event to get certain things like the PATRIOT act passed. It is false flag terror to take our rights or invade other nations.

TAXED: I pay for my own medical plan since I don’t have a retired medical one. I also have about $20K set up in a plan to assist in medical cost called VEBA. I got a letter on Friday saying because of the Affordable Healthcare Act, I need to pay $100 to the Healthcare Act and that this will increase by $2.00 each year until 2016.
So I saved $20k of my own money and I have to pay $100 each year for the next 5 years. But is not a tax. I am figuring it out since my VEBA is a protected tax free account.
There is no real explanation on these fees. If I don’t pay, will Pelosi call me a Free Rider?

Obama got a victory in the Senate and the Bush tax rates. People making over $200K as a single person and over $250 for married couples, will have a tax increase. Those making less than those amounts will keep the Bush tax rates.
I guess Obama broke another promise. Reid waited for the vote until he had the votes, but he won’t bring Obama’s budget to s vote.

Sad thing is that our nation will continue to dive in the economy if Obama gets elected again. They had a business here that allowed you to use a machine and buy tobacco and it saved you $16.00 a carton, they closed down the business screwing us guys on a fixed income. Obama put though some new rules and regulations on tobacco thereby causing a business to go out of business, thereby no tax income and more losses to the people who were employed there.

I read an article today that Ron Paul got passed in the house to allow the federal govt. to audit the Federal Reserve (central bank).
The bill died in the democrap controlled senate (Barney Frank et al.) I guess the democraps don’t want the audit because it will show how they have benefited from the Fed’s generous policies. Yup, the democraps have been sucking on the central bank’s tits for a long time, milking that system dry (or we, the people into a deeper debt.)

head. Obama and N.W.O. are one of those realities that the average person does not want to believe. Bush (both of
them) are also part of the plan, along with Bubba Clinton (pushing NAFTA). Just as Germans didn’t want to believe
their government (the finale solution) was exterminating its citizens (German Jews) or the fear the common Iraqi felt
for the murderous Sadam, or perhaps the reality that was apparent to America’s colonist, that King George had NO other
desire, but to keep the colonist subjugated to the crown in spite of the loyalist disbelief. It seems the power
of fear, has proven at least to this point, to be more than enough to keep 300,000,000 people in check. However
the think tanks that focus on social control (the Rand Corp. along with others) have made it known to the
powers that be, that human nature trumps politics and secret organizations. “You can’t fool all
the people all the time”, which of course might explain the false flags, and the move toward more government
control of its citizens. I will vote again for Ron Paul, even though he will most assuredly not be elected, and if
he were to be elected, I’m sure he would die in office of some ailment related to old age, so the N.O.W. VP
could be installed. Time will tell. They know Obama has lost his footing with Black Americans so they enlisted
the help of CNN to contrive this BULL-SHIT story about the first slave and Obama, that load of shit has me mad,
cussing mad, fighting mad. I am a direct descendent of those African slaves and find it difficult to contain
my rage and indignity of Obama and the government controlled news media and all of the incredible propaganda that

I don’t understand the comment about wiping out the middke class. Capitalism thrives on having different classes economically. Socialism, in theory, has one class, but forgets to mention the ruling class that controls everything.
The trade agreements need to be restructured, and taxes / regulations on corporations reduced or eliminated. Unions need to realize they need a strong economy if they want the great contracts. In a poor economy, unions need to take the hit and ask for less, otherwise no jobs, or out sourcing happens.

Why, me! The small-business guy. Everyone’s buzzing about me. That’s because I represent more than 20 million others who are supposedly just like me. According to the National Federation of Independent Business, my confidence is down. Oh, no! But don’t worry. The President and Congress are battling over ways to help me succeed. Hooray!
I appreciate everyone’s concern. And I certainly love the attention. But really, I don’t want to waste your time. My technology company has 600 small-business customers. And I agree that I probably don’t have the right to speak on behalf of the other 19,999,400 small businesses in the country. But then again, why not? I know that small businesses will be an important part of this year’s election. We’re already getting a lot of attention from the media. So let me help explain a few things. And put to rest a few silly myths about us.
Silly Myth #1: Small businesses collectively oppose higher taxes.
My customers sell scrap, provide roofing services, distribute machine parts, and build wrought-iron fences. These are good, hard-working people, and they also hate to pay taxes. Why? Because we are control freaks. We’re the ones with the TV remote. We do the barbecuing when family comes over, because our wives don’t know how to cook a steak as well as we do. And, as small-business people, we believe that we can spend our money more wisely than the government. But we do not oppose higher taxes. We know that the government, like our own businesses, requires revenue to run. And sometimes, like our own businesses, a rate increase is needed. But when I’m forced, every few years, to raise my hourly rates, I need to be darn sure I can explain why to my customers and justify the rate increase with added value. And that the increase won’t happen again for a long time. Small-business owners are looking for that same rationale from the government.

Silly Myth #2: More taxes on the wealthy will significantly hurt the economy.
I hate taxes like the next guy. But the fact is that the President’s proposals are to let rates rise for those families who earn more than $250,000 a year and only on the income in excess of $250,000. So if a business owner brings home $350,000 per year, he’ll pay 5% more taxes on the extra $100,000 of income, or $5,000. That stinks, but it’s not the end of the world. Personally, I’d rather see that guy keep the $5,000 and spend it on a vacation, roof repairs, a diamond necklace for his wife, an upgrade to his accounting software, or to help this guy buy a new car already, for God’s sake. Oh, and hire more people because he’s the main guy doing that. Those are all things that would probably help the economy more than just giving the money to the government. But I don’t believe the additional tax rate will kill him or further wreck the economy. I just think that a lower (and, more important, long-term and stable) tax structure would help him a lot more.
Silly Myth #3: Small-business owners and other people who make $250,000 a year are wealthy.
No, they’re not. They’re not doing so bad, mind you. But they’re not wealthy. At least a third of that money will go to federal, state, and other taxes. The majority of what’s left will go toward tickets to The Dark Knight Rises, along with a large popcorn and a Coke. The remainder will go toward a mortgage, car payments, clothes, alimony, cable, Scientology fees, insurance, summer camp, a vacation, health care, and maybe, just maybe, a retirement account. Oh, and a college fund. It’s a good life, but not the high life. And, by the way, the people that I personally know who run businesses and make that kind of income easily work 14-hour days to make that happen. They have the pressure of people depending on them. They deal with many, many problems. They are stressed out. No one, with the exception of Scott Disick, just sits back and makes that money by doing absolutely nothing worthwhile.
Silly Myth #4: Tax incentives create jobs.
No, they don’t. Most of the small-business owners I know laugh at the government’s attempts to help them hire. A tax credit to hire someone is nice, but if we don’t need the person, we’re not going to hire him just because a credit is offered. Here’s why: I still have to pay the employee’s salary and benefits. So I’m still significantly out of pocket, despite the tax credit. Even Jared Bernstein, a former economic adviser to the President, admits that there’s no hard data to support that tax incentives create jobs. The government can’t make me create a job for someone. Only more demand can do that. Or a request from my largest customer to hire his kid for the summer.

Silly Myth #5: All government incentives are useless.
That’s not true either. Some work. Extending the popular Section 179 deduction that allows smaller companies to immediately write off the purchase of certain capital equipment and investments is helpful. Credits for research and development really do spur research and development. Targeted tax relief in certain urban zones can attract businesses to build and invest. Easing of rules (like the “Quick App” for bond guarantees from the Small Business Administration) helps us get money faster.
Silly Myth #6: The Senate’s Small Business Jobs and Tax Relief Act will create 990,592 new jobs.
Not 990,593? What about that poor guy? I’ve done my own calculations, and I think it will actually be 990,589. So there! I mean, really, is anyone believing this data? Our government cannot even balance its own budget by a trillion dollars, but it can predict the number of new jobs that would be created by a proposed legislation to that degree of certitude? Wow! The fact is that small-business owners don’t believe most of the predictions provided by the government (or its research organizations) any more than we believe that professional athletes are braver than the average guy. We hear about the upcoming “taxmageddon” and the “fiscal cliff,” and we know that the people predicting disaster were the same people who predicted that last summer’s credit downgrade of U.S. debt would be calamitous. (It wasn’t.) And where were they prior to the 2008 financial meltdown? The latest financial downturn has taught small businesses that those supersmart Ivy League guys on Wall Street, in corporate boardrooms, and in Washington policy think tanks still don’t have a clue.

Silly Myth #7: The government can stimulate the economy and create jobs.
We don’t believe that either. We’ve seen the Fed ease money and keep interest rates at near zero over the past few years. We’ve watched our President spend trillions on stimulus and tax incentives. We’ve let cats run our towns. And all we’ve got to show for it is an anemic 2% growth rate and a couple of new democracies in the Middle East. Big whoop. Don’t misinterpret me — governments can help get the ball rolling. The Marshall Plan began an economic recovery after World War II. Johnson’s Great Society (not to mention the Vietnam War) helped spur growth. Reagan’s defense buildup in the wake of Soviet aggression was one part of his economic recovery. A stable tax system and well-managed Federal Reserve is critical. But the government can only do so much. Merger-and-acquisition activity was a big part of the stock market explosion during Reagan’s administration. A dot-com boom fueled the economy under Clinton. A housing surge helped Bush. A lot of things could happen that would make our next President seem like an economic genius. So small-business owners don’t look to the government for answers. We try to avoid dealing with the government whenever possible.
I hope this clears up a few myths about us. Now, if you don’t mind, I have some work to do. I’ve got exactly 990,592 new jobs to start creating, and that’s not going to happen overnight!

Harry Reid flapping his gums about Romney not paying taxes. Reid should be made to reveal his source, since the IRS has not charged Romney with tax evasion. The Romneys should sue Reid for slander.
On the other hand, Romney should reveal his taxes if Obama reveals his college applications and records. Trump made a great point that Obama and the DNC has spent millions keeping Obama’s college transcripts sealed.
Why is it the Occidental College does not promote the fact the President of the US is an alumni. Maybe they don’t want the attention of having pressure to produce Obama’s records.
Maybe Obama’s SS number is listed. May e his place of birth is listed. Maybe he was dismissed from school. Maybe he wrote radical papers.

The Reid statements rank right up there with Obama’s political tactics allied with the left wing media. Obama attacked the Clintons during Hillary’s presidential primary, false allegations about NcCain having an affair, and the numerous attacks on Sarah Palin and her family.
The questions the GOP has raised have some legit concerns. Everything from Obama’s birth certificate, Social Security number, college records, and his overall integrity are justifications for the GOP inquiring into those issues.
Ocn8tv, don’t you want to know why Obama is keeping his college records sealed? Why is Obama fighting to have that information released? I heard a report Obama has spent over 40 million to keep his records sealed. There is something Obama does not want us to see.

It seems that when a democrat(socialist) has something to hide the media left protects them and ignores a story like in the case of Obama who has a shady past does not cover the story, yet if a GOP candidate runs for office the even make stuff up to discredit them. Yet what we do know about Obama is bad real bad, history of associating with radicals, communists, crooks is well known. So I imagine Obama doesn’t want those college records released not his actual birth certificate when once revealed will show he was born in Kenya.Our government has been taken over by the very enemies that our founding fathers warned us about and McCathy in last century. Bottom line if there is nothing there to be asahmed of, then Obama should release all records and prove once and for all that he is entitled to be president by his birth in the USA. Besides all that stuff about his birth he should be impeached for his actions as traitor by signing exective orders and circmventing congess and the constitution.

It really doesn’t matter that much who the president is. The problems in this country are the result of boneheaded legislation (or lack thereof)by congress. We need to vote for 3rd party candidates for both houses of congress. Right now congress is in a republicrap Vs demicrap. We, the people must intervene and take back our country and put people in congress that will represent us.
