Cities using tickets to balance budiget
Parking enforcement in Palmdale driving around giving ticket for parking a tow truck while driver is trying to get something to eat. This is just on item that they will give tickets for just to raise money to balance their budiget.

Stopping on the Railroad tracks is about $500. A friend was caught doing this when the car in front stopped when the light was yellow because he saw the Deputy and the car behind would not let him backup.

Was 300 for the tow truck.
One thing that was told to me is that no vehicle that has a company name on it is allowed to be parked at your home.
I will be looking for any City Employee that has a city vihicle parked at their home for any reason I will request that a ticket be given to them.

No Front License Plate or parking on the line (not over) in the Mall is getting tickets now too. I know someone who was cited for both items recently.

…and why don’t they have a front license plate? hmmm…
They ARE supposed to! What makes these car owners special? Good for the cops.

It isn’t the cops writing the tickets it’s the meter maids the one’s running around for the city of both Lancaster and Palmdale that went to class for a week to learn how to write.
The cops all the do in the parking lots check for cars with expired plates.

Rex’s rangers writing tickets for missing front plates in private parking lots for restaurants will drive us out! Front plates are important for Rex ’s RED LIGHT CAMERAS!

If one looks at the front of the cars, some are not aesthically pleasing to have a plate on the front. Not all states require this to be on the front of a car. Hence when a plate is put on the overall appeal of that area is detracted from.

There are alot of cars with bumpers that are not made to have plates on them.
The meter maids are running around town to drum of money for the city. This to help pay for the employment of out of town collection sites. Lancaster look on your parking tickets and see where you send your payment it isn’t in Lancaster.

Red light cameras are controled by an out of state company.

Close. The outfit that is contracted to process the ticket is out of state. The red light camera parent company is in Melbourne, Australia

Some cars like mine have an intercooler used to cool the charge air going into to the engine. Having a front plate blocks the intercooler and affects the MPG ratings. NO Not because of the flat frontal area, but because it increases the charge temperature, which backs of ignition timing and increases fuel flow.

No homebase business can keep their work vehicle at their home. So does that mean that all those that are doing lawn care has to find some other place to park.
How about women that sell AVON or Mary Kay that has that advertised in their rear window. Or how about day care they have to move their vehicles and not park them at their homes.
This what the Parking Enforcement office told me the other day.

They will even give tickets if your car has a wheel parked on the lawn.
